Nationmedia.com | Daily Nation | COMMENTARY | Never wonder how many will attend your funeral

Nationmedia.com | Daily Nation | COMMENTARY | : "Story by CHARLES ONYANGO OBBO | WHAT OTHERS SAY Publication Date: 2007/04/12 In order not to spoil the blissful lethargy most of us are still afflicted by from the long Easter holiday, we shall not comment on the devastating report on the effects of climate change issued last week and other serious matters of the world. We shall only note that the environment has truly arrived at the top of the global charts as one of the biggest issues of our times. In 2004, our own Prof Wangari Maathai won the prestigious Nobel Peace Prize for environmental activism. Now former US vice president Al Gore, who has become a global environmental star after making that must-see documentary, “An Inconvenient Truth”, is considered an early favourite for the Nobel Peace Prize in October, according to The Independent of London."
